Anyway did you ever thought about getting into the Blizzard Entertainment? Joystic team has sneaked through Blizzard’s campus in Irvine, CA and shoot tons of photos! I’ve seen few reports after Blizzard moved to the new campus but Joystic did quite a coverage.

The first thing you’ll see outside is a massive Orc Wolfrider 12-foot-tall statue done by the fabulous guys at WETA Workshop, New Zealand. Around the statue is an eight point compass, which highlights the company’s development mantras:

Concept Art World is a wordpress-based blog about, well you name it, conceptual art. There are posts about videogames and movies concept art and artists as well as various artistic projects like Exodyssey or BATTLEMiLK. The structure is simple and neat so you won’t be lost under the piles of text. There are also few small sections with information on books, training and studios. Creative Uncut or CU for short is dedicated to bringing together concept design works from a wide variety of games to one place where people can easily access and enjoy them. The title “Creative Uncut” is partially derived from a poor fan translation of a Star Ocean 2 music track that was incorrectly translated as “Let’s Creative”. Every image on CU is watermark-free, out of respect for the original artists and for those wishing to collect artwork or use it in personal design projects. The project were launched in 2003 and since then goes pretty well serving almost 12,000,000 unique visits to date.

In Video Game Art Galleries section you’ll find tons of artwork from various videogames released in media or manually scanned from imported artbooks or sometimes strategy guides. The most viewed gallery on CU to date has been Soul Calibur IV, which also held the top spot for more than six months straight.
CU also feature a selection of Video Game Art Books on the site. These aren’t artbook scans but info page with short description of each book including specs and direct links to Play Asia online store.
