Just watched Star Trek 2009. Man if you’re into sci-fi don’t miss this one. Star Trek have that good old days atmosphere you wouldn’t find in modern sci-fi. Can’t count myself as ST fan but I really enjoy it when I was a kid (yeah that was long ago ). And now it’s great to see Kirk, Spock and others are back on big screen. And it’s so fun to see that young russian guy with terrible english accent (actually he spoke russian very well).

If you’re an artist and looking for some inspiration go look for visuals it’s pure eye-candy stuff. Camera angles, dynamics, colors… the spaceships designs are matching the 60’s style but still looks fun. The backgrounds and mattepaintings are stunning. Vulcan planet is a great example.

Can’t wait to see Cameron’s Avatar (and Battle Angel Alita) and Spielberg’s Ghost in the Shell 3D.
